Large self-watering flower pot in handmade ceramic from Pepin
Paulita from Pepin is a self-watering plant pot that makes it easier to keep your plants beautiful and well cared for in everyday life. The pot works with the traditional Olla watering technique, where the natural porosity of the ceramic slowly releases water directly to the plant roots as needed. This provides a more stable and even watering that helps the plant thrive – even when you’re away from home.
The two-part construction consists of an inner pot for the plant and an outer pot that acts as a water reservoir. When water is poured into the outer pot, the plant regulates its own water uptake through the ceramic. Depending on the plant, temperature and location, the system can provide up to approximately two weeks of watering.
Paulita is handmade in Portugal by ceramists Ana and Vitor from the Leiria region, where the craft has been passed down through generations. Each flowerpot therefore has its own natural expression with slight variations in surface and structure.
This larger model is suitable for slightly larger green plants and herbs that need more space around the roots. The muted Sage Green color gives a calm and natural look that fits beautifully into both modern and more organic interiors.
