If you regret your purchase (Withdrawal)

As a consumer, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal when you shop with us.

The cooling-off period expires 14 days after the day you receive your item. If you have ordered several different items in one order, but they are delivered individually, the period runs from the day you receive the last item.

Any return costs you incur yourself.

You must notify us of your wish to cancel no later than 14 days after delivery and after you have notified us that you wish to cancel your purchase, you have 14 days to send the item back to us.

You must pay for the return of the package yourself, and you are liable if any damage occurs during transportation.
You have the option to use our return label. If you choose this option, the cost of the return label will be deducted from your refund.

Requests to use the right of withdrawal must be sent by email to webshop@himmerli.com or by using the standard withdrawal form, which you will find at the bottom of the terms and conditions. In your message, clearly make us aware, that you want to use your right of withdrawal.

You cannot cancel the purchase by refusing to receive the goods without notifying us.

Cancellation of part of the purchase
If you have purchased several items from us, you have the option to return one or more items, even if they were purchased in one order.

Please note that you will not be refunded the shipping costs if you regret any part of your purchase.

Condition of the item you have returned

You are responsible for the condition of the product, and of the decreased value of the goods caused by handling it other than what is necessary to determine the nature, characteristics and function of the goods. This means, that you have to try the item in the same way as if you were shopping in a physical store.

If the item is tested/used in addition to what is described above, it is considered used and of decreased value. This means, that when the purchase is canceled, you will receive a minor portion or none of the purchase amount refunded. It is up to Himmerli ApS to evaluate the item’s condition. The amount you can get back depends on the commercial value of the item, and in some cases this may mean that you can only get back the shipping costs.

Refund of the purchase amount

If you cancel your purchase, you will be refunded the purchase amount of the item(s) (less any depreciation in value).
We do not refund the shipping costs associated with your order.

We will refund without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the date we have received notice of your decision to withdraw from the contract.

The refund will be made with the same payment method that you used for the purchase, unless otherwise agreed.

We may withhold the refund until we have received the item back or you have provided documentation for the return.

Payment

Himmerli accepts online payment with:

  • Thank you card
  • Visa/Debit card
  • Mastercard

No card fees are charged.

Payment is only deducted from your account when the item is shipped from our warehouse.

All amounts on the website are inclusive of VAT.

Prices are shown in the following currencies:
Denmark – Danish kroner (DKK)

Himmerli uses a secure payment server that encrypts all information with SSL protocol. This means that your data is safe and cannot be read by other outsiders.

Amount reserved

When using international payment cards, both debit and credit cards, the amount of the purchase is reserved. The amount is reserved until the webshop has processed and shipped your order.

When the order is dispatched, the amount will be withdrawn from the account. The reservation time depends on your card issuer.

You can find out more about the rules for your specific card from your card issuer.

Debit card authorization

When using a debit card, you can see that the money is reserved in your account and that your available amount appears smaller.

If you or the online shop cancels the order, the online shop cannot withdraw the money. However, the reservation may remain visible for a period of time. Only your bank or card issuer can cancel the reservation.

Credit Card authorization

The money is only withdrawn from your account and appears in your account overview when the webshop processes and collects payment for your order.

Delivery and Shipment

Free delivery on purchases over 499 kr.

Packages are normally delivered within 1-3 business days in Denmark.

If an item is unexpectedly out of stock, you will be notified as soon as possible. In this case, you can choose to get a refund or help you find an equivalent item.

We ship Danish orders with:

  • DAO
  • GLS
  • PostNord

You can choose the delivery method that suits you best – either delivery to your home address, parcel shop or work address.

Freight rates

GLS Pakkeshop: 49 kr.
GLS Private: 85 kr.
DAO Shop: 54 kr.
DAO Home: 59 kr.
PostNord Business: 79 kr.

You will always receive a track & trace number so you can follow your package from our warehouse to delivery.

For sales outside Denmark, please contact us at webshop@himmerli.com.
Please note that deliveries outside the EU may be subject to customs duties and VAT, which are payable by the recipient.

Uncollected packages

If a package is not picked up at the parcel shop within the carrier’s deadline, it will be returned to Himmerli.

For uncollected parcels, the order will be refunded less:

  • the original freight
  • the costs charged by the carrier for return shipping



Warranty

As a consumer, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal when you shop with us.

The cooling-off period expires 14 days after the day you receive your item. If you have ordered several different items in one order, but they are delivered individually, the period runs from the day you receive the last item.

If you wish to cancel your purchase, you must notify us within 14 days of delivery. You then have another 14 days to return the item to us.

If you wish to exercise your right of withdrawal, you must send your request to webshop@himmerli.com, or by using the standard withdrawal form, which you will find at the bottom of the terms and conditions. The message must clearly state that you wish to exercise your right of withdrawal.

You cannot cancel the purchase by simply refusing to receive the goods without notifying us.

Return costs are borne by the customer.

We offer to issue a return label. If you use this, the cost of the return shipment will be deducted from the amount refunded to you.

Cancellation of part of the purchase

If you have purchased multiple items from us, you have the option to return one or more items, even if they were purchased in one order.

Please note that delivery costs are not refundable if you only cancel part of your purchase.

Condition of the item you have returned

You are liable for any deterioration in the value of the goods caused by handling other than that necessary to determine the nature, characteristics and function of the goods.

You can therefore try the product in the same way as if you were shopping in a physical store.

If the item has been tried on beyond this, it is considered used and of diminished value. This means that if you cancel the purchase, you may get a small part or none of the purchase amount back.

It is up to Himmerli ApS to evaluate the item’s condition.

Refund of the purchase amount

If you regret your purchase, you will get your money back. If the item is impaired, we will deduct the amount you are liable for.

We will refund all payments received from you, including delivery costs corresponding to the cheapest delivery method we offer. If you have chosen a more expensive delivery method than our standard delivery, the additional cost will not be refunded.

The refund will be made no later than 14 days after the day on which we have received your notification that you wish to cancel the purchase.

We may withhold payment until we have received the returned goods or until you have provided proof of return.

The refund will be made using the same payment method you used for the purchase, unless we have agreed otherwise.

Warranty

When you shop at Himmerli as a consumer, you have a 2-year warranty under the Danish Sale of Goods Act.

The right of complaint applies to defects in:

  • material
  • fabrication
  • function

If your complaint is justified, you can get:

  • the item repaired
  • the item exchanged
  • money back
  • An appropriate discount in the price

Complaints must be made within a reasonable time after the defect has been discovered. Complaints within two months are always considered timely.

The right to complain lapses in the event of incorrect or unusual use of the product.

If the complaint is justified, Himmerli will cover return costs to a reasonable extent.

Remember to get a receipt for the shipment so we can refund your shipping costs.

Complaints will not be accepted if they are sent cash on delivery or without delivery.

When purchasing as a trader, we reserve the right to remedy the defect, for example by repair, rather than replacement.

To be eligible for a complaint, the product or service must have cost a minimum of DKK 1,110 and a maximum of DKK 100,000.
For clothing and shoes, the minimum amount is DKK 720.

If you shop at an e-labeled webshop, you can have your case handled by the e-label free of charge.

If you reside in another EU country, you can complain via the European Commission’s online complaint portal:
