When investing in a cashmere scarf of this quality, known for its luxurious lightness and softness, there are some important precautions you should take to maintain the quality and durability of the scarf: Avoid sharp objects: Due to the fine weave, small threads can easily be pulled out if they come into contact with sharp edges, jewelry or rough surfaces. Therefore, be careful when wearing the scarf with jewelry such as rings or bracelets. Gentle handling: Cashmere is delicate and the scarf can develop small holes if it is pulled too much or subjected to rough handling. Therefore, handle the scarf gently when putting it on and taking it off and avoid pulling hard on the material. Care: Hand wash at 30 degrees. Soak the product in water with wool detergent for 10-15 minutes. Rinse in lukewarm water at 30 degrees and avoid twisting the product in the process. Let it dry flat to maintain its shape and avoid exposing it to direct sunlight, which can fade the color over time. Cashmere is a self-cleaning fiber and requires less washing than other materials. In most cases, airing is enough to achieve a fresh smell and feel. If you choose to machine wash, choose a gentle wool program at 30 degrees on a low spin setting. Machine washing is at your own risk as we cannot guarantee individual settings on washing machines. Products made from cashmere require a little more attention than products made from other coarser fibers. After using a new cashmere product, you may find small balls of fiber on the surface. These balls do not indicate an inferior quality – they are an inevitable consequence of the careful processing of this very fine fiber. Pimples can be easily removed by hand or by using a cashmere comb. Storage: To avoid creases, pulling and holes, store your scarf flat or rolled in a gentle material like silk or cotton bags. Avoid hanging it up as this can cause unnecessary stretching of the fibers.
