This delicate, colorful bracelet is hand-crocheted by Turkish and Syrian women living in southeastern Turkey – an area characterized by both strong craft traditions and great human challenges. The bracelet was created in a local workshop, giving women the opportunity to create an income and a place to stand in the wake of the devastating earthquake in early 2023.
With each mask and bead, a strong cultural heritage is passed on, combining finesse, resilience and beauty. The bracelet is a symbol of both hope and craftsmanship – and a small but meaningful gift you can wear with pride.
