Himmerli and Limkilde have entered into a unique collaboration that brings both modern design and spiritual heritage together in a beautiful collection of handmade bracelets. Jewelry designer Helle Limkilde has designed each bracelet using an exclusive blend of beads carefully selected during her travels to markets and from regular suppliers around the world. <\/p>\n
A special component of this collection are the antique glass and conch shell beads. Beads I collected from historic malas in the Himalayas during my recent trip to Nepal. Often worn as sacred jewelry in Buddhist and Hindu traditions, malas are symbolic of spiritual practice and meditation. These beads are given new life in Helle Limkilde’s designs.
