The name Tara refers to the Buddhist goddess Tara, who symbolizes compassion, strength and protection. As a silent reminder, the bag carries its mantra: “Om Tare Tuttare Ture Soha<\/em> ” – a wordless message of peace and inner balance. <\/p>\n The Tara Stringbag is produced in Nepal in collaboration with a local organization that trains women from marginalized communities to sew.
